See the star shine on the virgin foretold

Take a moment once the sky darkens to sit in awe and silence.

Today’s Challenge:

Gaze up at the starts tonight and appreciate the smallness of your presence in God’s world.

Ideas:

Sip hot chocolate while you star gaze
Make a bonfire and appreciate the stillness and cold of winter while gazing in the sky
Is it cloudy out tonight? If so, ask yourself how your thoughts can get in the way just like clouds to the brightness that is above it. Can you find even one star?
