Romans 9

Chapter 9 is one of the most difficult in all of scripture, as it deals with the concepts of predestination and God's sovereignty in who He chooses for salvation and in who He leaves in a sinful condition. As you read these words, take comfort in the ultimate take away v16 gives: Salvation does not depend upon your efforts, but upon God's mercy.

AAA Prayer Tips:

  • ACKNOWLEDGE WHO GOD IS: The sovereign creator of all things, who bears with great patience the objects of His wrath (v22).

  • ALIGN YOUR LIFE WITH GOD'S WILL: Your salvation (and plans) do not depend upon your own efforts, but upon God's mercy (v16).
