Summer seems a long way off, but the deadlines are quickly coming to lock in trip options for this coming summer.

Option 1 - SERVE Trip

The consensus at the last few meetings was to apply for the SERVE project in Palos Heights, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) - 7/10/2027 – 7/17/2027. Trip Details

There are other options, but at this point we would only consider them if there's a significant amount of votes for the same one in the form below.

Option 2 - RYS Convention

Over 1,000 students will convene at Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington for the Reformed Youth Services Convention, 7/12 - 7/16. We've sent students to these conventions before, and they've been excellent. Trip Details

Needs to meet to make a trip possible:

• A liason between us and the organizers (Lorraine is willing to do this)

• Logistics organizer & treasurer: Van rental(s), air travel (if req'd), schedule, budget (we've had a couple of volunteers - thanks!)

• Counselors: generally the sites require a 5:1 ratio between students and counselors

PLEASE REPLY BACK BY OCTOBER 28, SINCE REGISTRATIONS OPEN ON NOVEMBER 2.
